Directions
Located at the corner of East Hastings Street and McLean Drive, the Waldorf Hotel is a 10-minute drive from downtown and is right at the heart of East Vancouver’s Commercial Drive district, a five-minute walk to the east. The Waldorf has a dedicated, free parking lot for guests (located west of the hotel, accessible by the westbound lanes of Hastings Street East). There is frequent bus service to the nearby McLean and Commercial Drive stops, and two of the best bike routes in Vancouver are a few pedal strokes away to the south (Adanac and Woodland), with mountains visible across the piers and water to the north.

Getting to The Waldorf via Bike
The Waldorf is three blocks north of where the Adanac bike route, which runs east-west from downtown to East Vancouver via the Dunsmuir Viaduct, meets the Woodland north-south route, which links up to the Central Valley Greenway and Off-Broadway. At Adanac and McLean Drive, head north (toward the mountains) to East Hastings and the hotel is on the north-east corner, with bike parking available along the rails on the west side of the complex. Getting to The Waldorf via Car
From Vancouver International Airport
Depart Vancouver International Airport, heading south on Grant McConachie Way. Keep left at the fork, follow signs for Marine Drive E and merge onto SW Marine Dr. Turn left onto Main St; follow for approx. 15 min. Turn right onto E Hastings St, the Waldorf Hotel will be on your left side.
From East
Take the BC-1W/Trans-Canada Highway towards Vancouver. Take Exit 26 for Hastings Street; Turn left onto E Hastings St E. Continue on E. Hastings (approx. 5 min), The Waldorf Hotel will be on your right.
From North
From Highway 1 (Whistler, West Vancouver) via Lions Gate Bridge/Stanley Park Causeway: follow W Georgia from Stanley Park Causeway. Turn left at Homer St, followed by a right onto E. Hastings. Follow E. Hastings to the Waldorf, which will be on your left.
From Highway 1 (North Vancouver) via Second Narrows Bridge: Take exit 25/McGill St. Take exit 26 on the left toward E. Hastings Street; continue along E Hastings St until you reach Waldorf Hotel on your left.
From South
From US border (I-5): Upon crossing the border from Washington State, I-5 becomes Highway 99 North. Follow for approx. 45 minutes, crossing the Oak Street Bridge and continuing on Oak Street. Turn right on W. 12th Ave; follow west until Main St. Make a left on Main St, follow until you reach E Hastings; make a right onto E. Hastings, follow until you reach The Waldorf Hotel, on your left.
Parking
The Waldorf Hotel parking lot is located adjacent to the building, and accessible by heading west on E. Hastings Street, towards downtown Vancouver. Parking passes are available for guests at the Front Desk. Parking at the Waldorf Hotel lot is safe, free, and subject to availability. Please note, the parking lot located directly behind the Waldorf Hotel is not for Hotel patrons parking.

From Vancouver International Airport
Depart Vancouver International Airport, walking towards Canada Line YVR Station, Eastbound. Board Skytrain, “CANADA LINE TO WATERFRONT” (Train 980 – Canada Line Skytrain). Depart Skytrain at final stop—Waterfront Station—walk to W. Hastings St at NS Granville St. intersection. Catch the ‘135 – SFU’ bus, (Stop ID: 51374). Exit bus at Commercial Drive, (Stop ID: 52714); walk south 3 blocks to The Waldorf Hotel at 1489 E Hastings St.
From East
From Commercial and Broadway Skytrain Station: Catch the ‘20 – Downtown’ bus from Commercial Dr. and E. Broadway (Stop ID: 58327); depart bus, in front of Waldorf Hotel, at McLean Drive (Stop ID: 50500).
From West, North and South
From Waterfront Station (via Canada Line; via Seabus): Walk to W. Hastings St at NS Granville St. intersection. Catch ‘135 – SFU’ bus, (Stop ID: 51374). Exit bus at Commercial Drive, (Stop ID: 52714); walk south 3 blocks to The Waldorf Hotel at 1489 E Hastings St.
