Meet a member of our creative community. Kurt was in Age of Electric and Limblifter and is currently the drummer for The New Pornographers. Most impressively, he’s the frontman for our house band! You can catch Kurt this Friday where he’ll lead our house band through a rousing set of Xmas Sing Alongs at The Waldorf’s Hawaiian Xmas Party.

am the house band leader and a philosophical guru.

naked and playing in a rock n roll band called the New Pornographers.

My favourite thing about Vancouver is…
Vancouver. Yeah, I like Vancouver.

My favourite Vancouver musicians are…
Terry Jacks and Pete Bourne.

The last book I read was…
You Can’t Win by Jack Black. It’s my favourite book and I’ve read it 100 times.

My spirit animal is…
my two dead mastiffs, Wilma and Bubbles.

My dream Jeopardy category is…
Vancouver Rock n Roll Trivia, String Theory or Quantum Psychics.

I never leave home without…
my keys and my iphone. Just in case I have to get back in the house or field calls from the Waldorf.

If you’re buying drinks, I will have…
a Beefeater martini. Wet, shaken 20 times and with olives.
